Historical Facts 

Founded in 1998, eTEK is a Colorado-based software development corporation based in suburban Foxfield, just minutes from downtown Denver, and Denver Internatioanl Airport (DIA). Additional offices are located in several other states.

eTEK acquired all of the assets and trademarks of MTX International in January 1998. MTX was a 22-year-old software company that had developed one of the first true Windows-based accounting systems, released originally in 1992. 

Bill Gates featured an early version of MTX Accounting (the foundational basis for most traditional eTEK systems) in a specialized Windows NT-based point-of-sale retail application at COMDEX Spring '94. Later that year, that original version became the first accounting software to be certified as Microsoft Office Compatible, a feature that has since been further enhanced significantly by eTEK, including the addition of versions designed for Microsoft SQL Server/BackOffice; and "the cloud".  

Since eTEK was established, the company has consistently earned top ratings for their products in reviews published by The CPA Technology Advisor magazine, and others. The company is an A+ Rated Better Business Bureau company - with over a decade of Gold-Star Ratings for impeccable customer support.

eTEK has further expanded their business recently to offer versions for Microsoft Office 2013 and Office 365; while continuing to provide versions for Microsoft SQL Server as web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) subscriptions - a growing trend in the software industry.
