Executive Overview - eTEK The Company & eTEK Online.
Founded in 1998, eTEK is a Colorado-based software development corporation based in suburban Foxfield, just minutes from downtown Denver, and Denver International Airport (DIA). Additional offices are located in other states.
eTEK background and company history started when eTEK acquired all of the assets and trademarks of MTX International in January 1998. At that time, MTX was a 22-year-old software company that had developed one of the first true Windows-based accounting systems, released originally in 1992. Bill Gates featured an early version of MTX Accounting (the foundational basis for most eTEK systems) in a specialized Windows NT-based point-of-sale retail application at COMDEX Spring '94. Later that year, that original version became the first accounting software to be certified as Microsoft Office Compatible, a feature that has since been further enhanced significantly by eTEK, including the addition of versions designed for Microsoft SQL Server/BackOffice; and "the cloud".
Since eTEK was established, the company has consistently earned top ratings for their products in reviews published by The CPA Technology Advisor magazine, and others. eTEK is Microsoft Small Business Specialist.
eTEK has further expanded their business to offer versions running on the Internet integrated with Microsoft Office 365 also running on the Internet; while continuing to provide enterprise versions for Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL either as in-house or web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) subscriptions - a rapidly growing trend in the software industry.
eTEK's largest single market is the construction industry. The installed user base exceeds 3000 licenses and spans a large number of other types of businesses, including numerous small to mid-sized distributors & manufacturers, as well as several large-scale enterprise accounts such as the State of New York, and diversified project management corporations, such as those involved in large-scale cleanup efforts from Hurricane Katrina.
Why do larger organizations select eTEK? Our proven ability to adapt our systems to meet their unique needs. Recent growth in the oil field accounting and remote services industry has been notable due to the flexibility and capabilities provided in eTEK Online, eTEK's increasingly popular "cloud-based" system.
As evidence of superior customer service, the company averages over 98% on renewals of annual end-user support agreements by existing customers. eTEK's customer relationships are considered truly exceptional.
